Oak Hill Academy is the center of education and growth for students who learn differently and need support and expertise found outside of mainstream classrooms.
Oak Hill’s on-campus, student focused learning environment includes:
- A safe, accessible campus with inviting classrooms from pre-k through high school that combine hands-on, project-based learning with state-of-the-art-technology
- Nature-focused learning environment anchored by our Learning Garden, an engaging space that includes paths, climbing equipment, a greenhouse, a chicken farm and a new walking labyrinth
- A close-knit campus of 175 full-time students, with an average student teacher ratio of 6:1
- Highly-trained, skilled staff of teachers and aides with extensive experience working with students with learning challenges
- A whole-child focused curriculum that includes academic learning experiences, organizational skills, character building, social-emotional health and social skills learning; learn more about our whole child approach
- On-site speech language assessments, speech and language therapy, academic language therapy and academic tutoring
