We’re hatching an expanded fine arts program at Oak Hill Academy!
Every student at Oak Hill Academy is unique in their personalities, talents and learning styles.
At Oak Hill, our mission is to provide a whole-child education for complex, neurodiverse students. To more fully support our mission, we are expanding our fine arts curriculum to help our Dragons discover additional avenues for self-expression, emotional regulation, communication, social interaction, and fine motor skill development.
Research shows that music and art can have a therapeutic effect on students with learning challenges. From providing a soothing environment for expression to building social communication and emotional skills, an expanded fine arts curriculum is vital for helping our neurodiverse students learn and grow.
Whether supporting a month of fine arts curriculum on campus, the installation of musical instruments on the playgrounds or classroom art and music sets, you are giving Oak Hill students the gift of regular hands-on arts experiences - which will directly impact their social, emotional and academic well-being.
By supporting the Hatchling Fund, you can help our Oak Hill Academy students shine!
