We would like to meet with you personally to discuss your child’s needs. We have adapted our admissions process to offer both virtual and in-person parent interviews/campus tours. Please submit the information form below or contact Director of Admissions Linda Wachel.
Admissions Process
Oak Hill Academy uses a rolling admission process, and enrolls new students throughout the school year when space is available. The purpose of our admission procedure is to identify students who will benefit from our individually-guided academic track and speech language based model of instruction. The following assessment tools may be requested: psychoeducational evaluation, speech language or neurological testing, therapy reports and student evaluations.
The Admission Process
1. Complete the inquiry form and/or contact Director of Admissions Linda Wachel to schedule a meeting and tour using ZOOM video conferencing, in person, or by phone if preferred.
2. Parent(s) meet virtually with our Director of Admissions to discuss child’s needs and the benefits of Oak Hill Academy’s programs. This meeting can include a virtual tour of the campus. Updated testing may be required. If formal diagnostic testing is needed, a list of referral sources will be provided.
3. Tours of the physical campus available by appointment.
4. Submission of application and payment of $100 application fee. This is a prerequisite to a student visit.
5. A Release of Information may be requested to allow admissions staff to interview treating therapists, physicians, or teachers.
6. A two-day student visit will be scheduled to allow the prospective student to visit a classroom and experience our multisensory learning environment.
