Using teaching strategies individualized for each student, Oak Hill Academy offers a multi-sensory model for students with academic, language and social learning challenges. Our programs are designed to prepare students for life after graduation. Our whole child approach incorporates curriculum enhancements that meet the child’s needs for social-emotional learning, executive functioning, sensory and physical development, health and wellness as well as academic achievement.
Oak Hill Academy is nestled in the heart of Dallas on a beautiful, wooded campus. It is a nature focused learning environment anchored by our learning garden, an engaging space that includes paths, climbing equipment, greenhouse, chicken farm, vegetable garden and a walking labyrinth.

Every child gets what he or she needs to thrive and succeed at Oak Hill. Parents are also so supportive of each other. Your child and you will feel truly “known” by the teachers and administrators. The on-site occupational and speech/language therapies are also a big plus.
We are entering our 4th year at Oak Hill and have been so pleased. It is a warm and kind school that offers a great education. Our son has been very happy here and served both educationally and socially. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Oak Hill Academy. My son was at OHA for 9 years. He had excellent teachers and flourished academically and socially. He played sports and was involved in many activities. We even traveled over 30 to an hr to go to such a wonderful school.

In addition to our specialized curriculum, Oak Hill also offers extra support services to supplement our whole-child learning approach. Many of our students benefit from added therapies and academic support beyond the curriculum. For those students, Oak Hill offers several additional on-campus services through our Therapy and Tutoring Clinic and Suggs Pediatric Outpatient Therapy.
